DO NOT RENT WITH THESE AWFUL PEOPLE!!!! I just got a bill from them for $10,671.40 for BOGUS charges. “Light fixture master bed missing” nope not unless y’all took it down after we moved. “Toilet seat install” there were toilet seats on all the toilets and my plumber left 3 at the house in case they wanted to charge us (we saw people saying this on other reviews) “carpet cleaning” we only had carpet upstairs which they did PATCH work on but left the foul smelling pet odor on carpets upon move in and this was noted when we moved in and also the carpet was coming up. “Burnt lightbulbs” nope. “Remove items on back porch” there was none. We even replaced a board cause it wasn’t “detrimental to the condition of the house” per home spot which my ONE YEAR ended up falling through. They have a late charge for our rent that was never late charging us for a “dirty” AC filter that we changed upon moving cause we had an extra one from when we had to change it upon moving in cause it was actually dirty and so on. If by some chance these reviews don’t change your mind be like us make sure you have time stamped pictures AND videos of the condition of your house upon move in and move out. We documented EVERYTHING and my husband is currently on the phone with a lawyer cause they’re not pulling this sht with us, not without a fight. They have a total of $2,050 deposit of ours. Other complaints, we were going to move in Sept 2 from out of state gave our Apts notice, home spot said it was good, they changed the move in date on us three times. Thankfully our apts hadn’t rented out our place just yet. 5 days after move in someone showed up to clean the house and she said she was told we weren’t living there yet and she couldn’t do anything cause we were already occupying the house. House was filthy. Carpets reeked of pet odor, walls had handprints on them, discoloration all over the walls. Etc. I could go on an

I can agree with all of the bad reviews on here. They cheat people out of money, it takes threatening to sue them in order to get responses. They do not include the owner in any of the details of the lease or tenant complaints, OR even changes they make to the house, despite their claims. When we attempted to reach out to the CEO, Glen Dorsey, he tried to shame us into giving up our complaints. Fortunately, we were able to contact the owner who was more than helpful, unlike myhomespot. Also, if you're military dont bother renting from them as they're in the process is being black-listed. If anyone else has a bad experience, look into a class action law suit against them.
